Clare Henney: Such an Adorable Kid!

I’m not much of a local TV fan these days but lately I’ve been hooked to the ABS-CBN show 100 Days. It’s the story of a woman being given a second chance on earth to do good to the people she had done wrong to, with the twist being she has to do it in the form of a young girl. It’s a simple plot and I have a feeling it’s been done before but the way that it’s been executed so far has been entertaining and has made me follow the show. I think a lot of the credit for making the show as successful as it is would have to go to Xyriel Manabat, the little girl who plays the new version of Connie Reyes on her second chance on earth. Where did they find this girl? She is so good! I love how she plays an old person in a little girl’s body. She is so convincing and so adorable that I can’t help but love this kid!  I know this little girl has had some other shows before but she really just shines in this one.  Part of me doesn’t even want the show’s plot to be just for 100 days because that would mean that the show will have a definite end and I just want to keep on watching this one.
